TL;DR: CloudTalk is the best Easybell alternative for sales and support teams that want a full cloud phone system with built-in tools; NFON or Placetel for teams that need German hosting; dus.net or sipgate for teams that only need a SIP trunk.

Easybell is a Berlin carrier with cheap SIP trunks, a simple cloud PBX on German servers and no minimum contract. Teams leave it when the PBX has to run on Easybell's own trunk, costs grow per channel and per minute, and sales or support work needs CRM sync and AI that Easybell doesn't build in.

Go from a carrier and a basic PBX to one phone system

A CloudTalk specialist shows you numbers, call queues, routing and CRM sync working in one app, so you can see what would replace the trunk, the PBX tier and the extra tools.

According to Bitkom's 2026 Cloud Report, 59% of German companies name lock-in, such as hard data exports or migrations, as the biggest barrier to switching cloud providers. On a phone system, that lock-in sits in your numbers: the main line on your invoices, the direct-dial extensions on business cards, and call flows someone built years ago.

The usual workaround is to stretch the carrier: more trunk channels, the Pro tier for the Call Flow Creator, a Fair Flat for mobile minutes and a separate tool for CRM logging. Each fix adds a line to the invoice and one more system to maintain.

Leaving Easybell is cheap: it charges nothing for outgoing number ports and has no minimum term. What you have to decide is the kind of system you move to. We reviewed the 10 best Easybell alternatives, and below you'll see which ones replace only the trunk, which replace the whole phone system, and how each handles hosting, German support, contracts and German number prices.

Two questions decide the choice. Do you need a trunk for a PBX you keep, or a complete cloud phone system? And how much of the DACH checklist below does your company require?

Why Are Teams Searching for an Easybell Alternative?

Easybell is a carrier first, and its phone system is built around the trunk it sells. The search for an Easybell alternative usually starts once calls have to land in a CRM, feed a sales dialer or reach an AI agent, because each of those means another vendor.

What is Easybell?

easybell GmbH is a Berlin telephone and internet provider founded in 2006 and part of the Dstny group (headquartered in Brussels) since October 2022. For business customers it sells SIP trunks from 2 to 1,000 voice channels, a self-built Cloud PBX in Basic, Classic and Pro tiers, a Microsoft Teams Connector and a mobile and desktop app, with no minimum contract term. Easybell says over 60,000 companies use it, and it now operates in Germany, Austria, France, the Netherlands and Switzerland. This page covers Easybell's business telephony, not its DSL and fiber lines.

Per Easybell's business price list (checked October 28, 2026, all prices net of VAT), Cloud PBX Basic is free for up to 5 seats with any SIP trunk. Classic costs €9.95 a month for 10 seats, €22.45 for 25 and €34.95 for 50. Pro costs €14.95, €29.95 and €49.95 for the same bundles. Every Cloud PBX needs an Easybell SIP trunk, from Business 2 (6 months free, then €1.95 a month) up to Business 50 at €19.95.

6 Main Cons of Easybell That Make Teams Look for an Alternative

The six cons below come from Easybell's own Cloud PBX, SIP trunk and price-list pages, not from the Easybell comparisons Placetel and fonial publish.

1. The Cloud PBX Only Runs on an Easybell SIP Trunk

Easybell's Cloud PBX page states it can only be used with an Easybell SIP trunk, which costs extra, and booking the PBX adds a trunk automatically. You can't bring another carrier to Easybell's PBX, and the free Basic tier stops at 5 seats.

2. Routing, Reporting and the Desktop App Sit in Higher Tiers

IVR and call groups start on Classic. The Call Flow Creator, analytics with live wallboards and the desktop client for Windows and macOS are Pro-only. For a team that wants to see queue performance, Pro becomes the default tier.

3. No Native CRM or Helpdesk Integrations Named

Easybell's product pages list a TAPI interface and an FQDN connection for third-party AI apps, but name no native CRM or helpdesk integrations. Logging calls in HubSpot, Salesforce or Zendesk means another vendor. The same goes for AI: Easybell connects external voice AI, for example through its fonio.ai partnership, rather than building its own voicebot.

4. The Teams Route Stacks Licences

The Teams Connector itself is cheap at €5 a month per 10 users (€0.50 per account) with Easybell trunks. It also needs a paid Easybell SIP trunk, Microsoft 365 licences and, in most setups, Microsoft's paid Teams Phone add-on for Direct Routing. Most of that cost is Microsoft's, but you still manage three contracts for one phone line.

5. Support Runs on Hotline Hours Unless You Pay

Easybell's business hotline is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 20:00 and Saturday from 9:00 to 18:00, with email support and appointment booking. Round-the-clock help is a paid add-on: €2.95 a month for the 24h Premium Service Hotline, or €6.95 for Premium Service with static IPs and express fault clearing.

6. Calls Are Metered by the Minute

Without a Fair Flat, Easybell bills 0.98 cents a minute to German landlines and 9.8 cents a minute to German mobiles. Fair Flat packages cap the minutes, from 1,000 for €9.95 to 10,000 for €99.50, and standard rates resume once a package runs out. International flats cover only the EU, Switzerland, the UK, the US and Canada.

A September 2026 Trustpilot review from an Easybell telephony customer describes a support call that ended with the agent hanging up. Easybell replied publicly:

Trustpilot review of Easybell in German from September 7, 2026, rated 1 out of 5, describing a support call where the agent repeated standard lines instead of answering and then hung up, followed by Easybell's public reply offering feedback and escalation email addresses

What the review says in English

Rated 1 out of 5. The reviewer says the support agent recited standard lines ("we are a VoIP provider") instead of answering the question, called the reviewer unfriendly when they pushed back, repeated the script and hung up after saying the line was bad. They don't recommend the company. Easybell replied that it was sorry, couldn't tell from the review what the question was, and offered its feedback and escalation email addresses. The reviewer added that they had already filled in Easybell's feedback form.

Easybell is still a fair fit if you want a low-cost German carrier with a simple PBX. There's no minimum term (the Cloud PBX cancels to month end, trunks 7 days to month end), porting in and out is free including number blocks, and the Cloud PBX runs on a reserved server in German data centers. Easybell also guarantees 99.99% availability for its SIP servers. In connect professional's 2025 cloud PBX test with zafaco, Easybell earned an overall "very good" in its first year in the test. The alternatives below suit teams that need more than a carrier.

A five-star review from October 2026 gives the reasons customers stay: a stable line, fair prices and a contract they can cancel monthly.

What Is the Best Alternative to Easybell?

CloudTalk is the best Easybell alternative for sales and support teams that want a cloud phone system with built-in tools. It starts at $25 per user per month with call queues and the Call Flow Designer included, adds IVR and skill-based routing on Essential ($29), numbers and calling come from CloudTalk itself, and the platform runs on a 99.999% uptime SLA.

For a bare trunk or a budget PBX, dus.net, fonial and sipgate cost less. When German hosting is non-negotiable, Placetel and NFON make the safer shortlist.

5 Main Pros of CloudTalk and Why Teams Switch from Easybell

  • One platform, no separate carrier: CloudTalk supplies the numbers and the calling, so there's no SIP trunk to book or cancel alongside the phone system. Calls run on a 99.999% uptime SLA.
  • Queues on every plan, IVR from Essential: ring groups, call queues and queue callback are included from Starter; IVR, business hours, skill-based and condition-based routing start on Essential. The Call Flow Designer, a drag-and-drop editor for incoming call flows, is available on all packages. Edits go live without interrupting calls.
  • Two-way CRM and helpdesk sync: 100+ native integrations start on Essential and sync contacts, calls, recordings, AI summaries and tags with tools such as HubSpot, Pipedrive and Zendesk; Salesforce joins on Expert.
  • Per-user plans with minutes and global numbers: each plan has one price per user. Starter includes 500 domestic outbound minutes per user per month across the EU, UK, Iceland and Norway, Essential and Expert include unlimited domestic calls in the same countries (fair use applies), and you can buy numbers in 160+ countries.
  • Support around the clock and the DACH paperwork: chat and email support run 24/7 on every plan, and CloudTalk lists GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 compliance plus a public data processing agreement. Onboarding is available in German.

How We Chose the Best Easybell Alternatives and Competitors

We built this list for teams in Germany, Austria and Switzerland that are replacing Easybell's trunk, its Cloud PBX or both, and checked every vendor's legal and security pages as well as its prices.

How we review software

For nearly a decade, we've helped over 30,000 professionals find and implement smarter business communication tools. We've reviewed 200+ software tools across industries, analyzed 5,500+ verified customer reviews from platforms like G2, Capterra, Trustpilot and TrustRadius, and drawn insights from real user discussions on Reddit and Quora. Hosting and provider origin weigh heavily in this market. Bitkom's 2026 Cloud Report1 found that 97% of German companies say data-center location matters when they choose a cloud provider, and 91% would prefer a German provider, though only 53% use one today. So every tool below gets the same six checks:

  1. 01
GDPR compliance and certifications: GDPR statements plus certificates such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 or BSI C5.
  2. 02
Server location in Germany or the EU: what the vendor says it stores or processes, and where.
  3. 03
German-speaking support: who answers in German, through which channels and at what hours.
  4. 04
Pricing clarity, contract length and German number prices: net or gross of VAT, minimum terms, seat minimums and what a new or ported number costs.
  5. 05
Integrations: CRM, helpdesk and Microsoft Teams, native or through another vendor.
  6. 06
AI and contact-center features: queues, dialers, call summaries and voice agents, included or sold on top.

The ten tools fall into two camps. SIP trunk providers (dus.net, and the trunk products at Easybell, sipgate and NFON) connect a PBX you already run. Cloud phone systems (CloudTalk, Placetel, sipgate, fonial, comdesk, NFON's Cloudya, Enreach Swyx and Aircall) replace the PBX and the carrier in one contract, while 3CX gives you the PBX and leaves the trunk to you.

The Easybell add-on stack. Easybell stays cheaper for the phone line itself; the cost sits in what you add around it. A 25-person team on Cloud PBX Pro pays €29.95 a month for the 25-seat bundle, plus a Business 10 SIP trunk at €4.95, a 10,000-minute Fair Flat at €99.50 and the 24h Premium Service Hotline at €2.95: €137.35 a month net of VAT, before any CRM connector, sales dialer or call AI, which come from other vendors. On CloudTalk Essential, IVR, skill-based routing and 100+ integrations sit in the per-user price of $29, and Conversation Intelligence adds $9 (CI Basic) or $19 (CI Plus) only on the seats that use it. These are October 2026 list prices, an illustration rather than a quote. Explore CloudTalk Plans & Add-Ons.

1. CloudTalk: The Best Easybell Alternative for Sales and Support Teams That Want a Cloud Phone System With Built-In Tools

What Is CloudTalk?

CloudTalk is an AI business phone system for sales and support teams. It replaces on-premise PBX hardware and the carrier contract with one cloud VoIP service that your team runs from a browser, a desktop app for macOS, Windows or Linux, or the iOS and Android app. Calls, SMS and WhatsApp conversations sit in one workspace with recordings, transcripts, contact records and analytics.

Why Is CloudTalk a Strong Easybell Alternative?

  • One contract instead of three: an Easybell setup can mean a trunk, a PBX tier and a Teams Connector; on CloudTalk, numbers, calling and the apps sit in one subscription with one support team.
  • Keep your German numbers: port local, national (+49 32) and toll-free (0800) numbers in. German mobile numbers can't be ported.
  • Keep your SIP desk phones: any SIP-capable hard phone or softphone can register with CloudTalk; Support activates SIP at least 24 hours before setup.
  • Sales tools in the same app: the Smart Dialer and Power Dialer come with Expert (the Power Dialer is also a paid add-on on Starter and Essential), and both work against the CRM records your team already uses.
  • AI that runs on your calls: Conversation Intelligence turns each call into a transcript, summary, sentiment and tags, and AI Voice Agents answer and qualify calls around the clock. Both are add-ons.

What Are the Pros & Cons of CloudTalk?

How Do Reviewers Rate CloudTalk?

CloudTalk holds 4.4/5 on G2 from 1,702+ reviews and 4.4/5 on Capterra Germany from 271 reviews. Recent G2 reviewers praise the easy interface, reliable call quality, CRM integration with automatic call logging and the auto-dialer. They flag call quality that depends on the user's own connection, a slow-loading call log in the desktop app and large contact imports. One RevOps Manager at a small business wrote on G2: "What I like best about CloudTalk is how easy it is to use and how smoothly it integrates with the CRM."

2. Placetel: Best for German SMEs That Want a Cloud PBX With Many Features

Placetel homepage hero screenshot

What Is Placetel?

Placetel is a cloud PBX from Gamma Placetel GmbH in Cologne, sold as "Webex für Placetel" and built on Webex technology, with 150+ telephony functions and desktop, mobile and browser apps. Placetel belongs to the UK's Gamma Communications, which also owns STARFACE.

Why Is Placetel a Strong Easybell Competitor?

  • Per-user billing from 2 users replaces Easybell's 10, 25 and 50-seat bundles.
  • The Business plan includes a German Allnet flat, so calls to German landlines and mobiles aren't metered.
  • Business adds AppStore integrations with Microsoft Teams, HubSpot, Salesforce and DATEV, plus AI call summaries, transcripts and action items.

How Does Easybell vs Placetel Compare?

Easybell wins on contract terms, because Placetel's lowest price needs a 24-month commitment; Placetel wins on calling costs from Business upward. Both host in Germany and port numbers free. The table uses the two price lists only, not Placetel's own Easybell comparison page.

AI assistants for phone, chat and WhatsApp start at €69 a month for 700 conversations.

The contract-term catch: the €6.90 headline price only applies with a 24-month commitment. Month-to-month, Essentials costs €8.90, and the call-center module and AI assistants are paid options on top.

Reviewers praise long-term reliability, reachability on a German landline number from anywhere and fast escalation, with one reviewer describing a number-block port that third-level support fixed within hours. They flag an initial setup that isn't self-explanatory and multi-site features that support had to switch on manually.

3. sipgate: Best for Small Teams That Want Simple German Cloud Telephony

sipgate ivr routing image
Source: sipgate

What Is sipgate?

sipgate is a cloud telephony provider from Düsseldorf. Its business S, L and XL plans give every user two lines, 150 functions and 50+ integrations, and you sign up and cancel online.

Why Is sipgate a Strong Easybell Alternative?

  • You can cancel monthly, one day before month end, with a 30-day free trial.
  • sipgate states that its infrastructure and servers are located only in Germany.
  • Conversation Intelligence, AI agents and a contact center are available as separate sipgate products, so you can add them without changing provider.

What Is fonial?

fonial is a cloud PBX from fonial GmbH in Cologne, part of the energy group EnBW. fonial PLUS bills per active phone number instead of per user, and you set it up in the browser with no hardware.

Why Is fonial a Strong Easybell Alternative?

  • At €3.90 net per active number, it matches comdesk's lowest price without comdesk's 12-month term.
  • fonial PLUS includes 100+ functions, unlimited queues, busy lamp fields (BLF), call pick-up and Fax2Mail with no setup fee.
  • There's no separate trunk: numbers, calling and the PBX come from one provider, cancellable monthly.

What the review says in English

Rated 1 out of 5, titled "Unreliable and not acceptable for business customers". The reviewer reports calls going straight to the mailbox without the phones ringing, so customers couldn't reach the business; mailboxes and phone targets that couldn't be deleted; and a broken softphone setup QR code that support had to fix. Phone support isn't available at weekends, so a fault on a Friday can leave a business without working telephony for days. fonial replied that the likely cause was the free version of its softphone app, whose mobile connection can drop under battery-saving settings, that the ticket was answered within 22 minutes, and that phone support runs Monday to Thursday 9:00 to 18:00 and Friday 9:00 to 16:00.

  • A cloud ACD contact center and an AI VoiceAgent are available, which Easybell doesn't offer.
  • CRM and ticket integrations with Zoho One, Zendesk, Freshdesk, HubSpot and Pipedrive are part of the catalog.
  • Hybrid Teams plus VoIP users let one company mix Microsoft Teams telephony and comdesk softphones.

What Is NFON?

NFON AG is a Munich cloud telephony provider whose cloud PBX runs under the Cloudya brand. It also sells a separate contact center product and SIP trunks.

How Do Reviewers Rate NFON?

NFON holds 4.0/5 on Capterra Germany from 19 reviews. Reviewers like location-independent use, easy setup and administration and a German vendor with regional contacts. They criticize CRMs that don't connect, keys that must be programmed per user, missing presence-status features and flat rates applied to every seat. In connect professional's 2025 test, NFON placed eighth of ten and kept a "very good" grade.

Capterra Germany review of NFON in German rated 4.0 out of 5 from a managing director at a German IT services company with 51 to 200 employees, dated December 2024 and titled Nfon als fester Unternehmensbestandteil, praising easy setup, use and administration and monthly up- or downgrades and naming flat rates applied to every seat as the one improvement wanted

Enreach Swyx product page in German headlined SWYX: DIE TELEFONANLAGE, die für mehr Geschäft sorgt, with buttons to request an information pack or book a consultation
Enreach Swyx product page, captured October 29, 2026

What Is Enreach Swyx?

Enreach Swyx is Enreach's unified communications platform, formerly sold as Swyx. You run it as SwyxON from a European data center, on-premise, or rented on your own server, and buy it only through authorized partners.

Why Is Enreach Swyx a Strong Easybell Alternative?

  • It offers cloud and on-premise editions, which Easybell's cloud-only PBX doesn't.
  • Microsoft Teams integration comes with Operator Connect numbers and SIP trunks from Enreach.
  • Swyx 15 adds WhatsApp and Teams integration, and AI functions connect to Enreach Contact.

What Are the Pros & Cons of Enreach Swyx?

ProsCons
Cloud or on-premise: SwyxON, on-premise or a rented serverNo public prices: every price comes in a partner quote
Deep Microsoft Teams options: including Operator Connect numbersPartner-only: you buy and get support through partners

What Are Enreach Swyx's Plans & Pricing?

Enreach doesn't publish Swyx prices. Its product page says Swyx is available only through authorized specialist partners, so seats, numbers and support arrive in a partner quote.

The quote catch: you can't compare Enreach Swyx on price until a partner has scoped your setup, which makes a like-for-like check against Easybell's public price list slow.

9. 3CX: Best for IT Teams That Want to Keep Running Their Own PBX

3CX phone system review

What Is 3CX?

3CX is a phone system licensed per system and priced by simultaneous calls, not per user. You host it on Windows or Linux, on-premise or in a cloud of your choice, or let 3CX host it. 3CX is based in Cyprus, inside the EU.

Why Is 3CX a Strong Easybell Alternative?

  • You keep a PBX you control and bring your own SIP trunk, which can still be Easybell's.
  • Host it in a German data center and the data stays where you put it.
  • Pro and AI editions add an integrated call center, Microsoft 365 and Teams integration and AI transcription.

What Are the Pros & Cons of 3CX?

ProsCons
Flat annual price per system: no per-user feeYou run the stack: hosting, the SIP trunk and maintenance are on you
Full deployment choice: on-premise, your own cloud or 3CX HostedHosting costs extra: 3CX Hosted is billed separately and isn't available on Basic
Bring your own trunk: keep your carrier and German numbersTicket or partner support: support is ticket-based or runs through partners

What Are 3CX's Plans & Pricing?

Per system per year, excluding tax and VAT, for 8 simultaneous calls: Basic $300 (self-hosted only), Pro $395 and AI $575. 3CX Hosted adds $295 a year for 8 simultaneous calls. For 16 simultaneous calls, Basic costs $600, Pro $795 and hosting $450. Our 3CX pricing guide covers every edition and hosting option.

What Is dus.net?

dus.net GmbH is a Düsseldorf carrier that sells SIP trunks under the DUStel brand and hosts everything in its own German data center, without third-party clouds. Its customer center works as a virtual PBX, with IVR and ACD as paid options.

Why Is dus.net a Strong Easybell Alternative?

  • DUStel business flex lets you build a trunk from lines, SIP accounts and numbers, with DDI and CLIP no screening options.
  • Calls are billed per second, and business flex cancels monthly.
  • An open VoIP API and webhooks let developers connect their own PBX or tools.

What Are the Pros & Cons of dus.net?

ProsCons
Monthly term: on business flexTrunk-first: IVR and ACD are paid options
Free porting: in and outShort support hours: personal support on weekdays from 10:00 to 16:00
German-only hosting: its own servers, including the AI chatConfigurator pricing: no published per-seat PBX price

What Are dus.net's Plans & Pricing?

From dus.net's tariff page, net of 19% VAT: business flex starts at €10.02 a month on a 1-month term, with 2 incoming and 2 outgoing lines and 2 SIP accounts. More lines, flats, numbers, IVR and ACD cost extra. API and webhook plans cost €19, €49 or €149 a month. The free prepaid starter tariff and the "complete" tariff, which dus.net limits to private use, aren't business options.

The configurator catch: the final price comes from the lines, numbers and options you add, so you only see it after building the trunk in dus.net's configurator.

What Users Are Really Saying About Easybell and Its Alternatives

Most current discussion of Easybell alternatives happens in German IT forums, where admins compare trunks and PBXs for small offices.

What Users and IT Admins Say About Easybell Alternatives

In a 2026 r/de_EDV thread about a VoIP phone system for a small company, one commenter recommends 3CX with Easybell numbers as a good combination. They add that you can host 3CX yourself or buy hosting for it (a hosted PBX), with licence costs on top.

What the comment says in English

3CX with numbers from Easybell is a good combination at a fair price. You can host 3CX yourself or buy hosting, and licence costs come on top. Pro: you can add as many clients as you like at no extra cost and buy phones yourself as needed.

In an April 2016 IP-Phone-Forum thread, the poster paid Easybell 9.9 cents a minute to German mobiles and asked for something cheaper. Easybell's business price list shows 9.8 cents today without a Fair Flat.

In a 2026 r/de_EDV thread about a small business with several sites, one commenter suggests a small cloud PBX from sipgate or Easybell, or Teams telephony, and sees no case for on-premise. A reply calls sipgate's small plan overpriced and points to Easybell:

What the comments say in English

The first commenter notes that Wi-Fi calling can be a paid option depending on the mobile contract, and for this number of users would go with a small cloud phone system from sipgate or Easybell, or Teams telephony, seeing no case for on-premise. A reply says sipgate's small plan is now hugely overpriced and suggests looking at Easybell instead.

How Do Reviewers Rate Easybell and Its Alternatives?

Easybell has no G2 profile we could find. Its biggest third-party footprint is on Easybell's Trustpilot page, where many reviews cover DSL rather than business telephony, so read the dates and products before you weigh them. Easybell's own website shows a 4.9 rating widget, but that comes from Easybell, so we don't present it as independent. Easybell also has a Capterra UK listing.

On Trustpilot, Easybell holds 4.4/5 from 1,886 reviews (read October 29, 2026). Telephony reviewers praise personal support; the complaints we read are about individual support calls and small app gaps, such as recording a voicemail greeting in the app:

What the review says in English

Rated 5 out of 5, titled "Everything really is easy": the reviewer says the service is easy to use and customer support is personal and very committed.

Trustpilot: an Easybell customer on the app's missing voicemail greeting option (October 2026)
Read the review on Trustpilot

What the review says in English

Rated 4 out of 5: a good solution for digital telephony with call forwarding. The one missing feature is recording a voicemail greeting inside the app.

How to read these ratings

Each score names its platform. For each alternative we use the review platform with the most reviews, as across our call center software comparisons, so scores from different platforms aren't directly comparable, and a score from one or a handful of reviews carries little weight. The one independent benchmark is connect professional's 2025 cloud PBX test with zafaco, where Easybell placed ninth of ten and still earned an overall "very good".

CloudTalk holds 4.4/5 on Capterra Germany from 271 reviews, 88% of them positive:

Which one should you pick?

Pick Easybell if you want a low-cost German carrier with a simple PBX, German hosting and no minimum term. Pick CloudTalk if you want a complete cloud phone system with dialers, CRM sync and AI for your sales and support teams.

How to Choose the Right Easybell Alternative for Your Business

Cloud PBX providers and trunk carriers solve different problems, so each answer below names the best tool for one need and says where CloudTalk fits.

1. Which Easybell Alternative Is Best for GDPR Compliance and German Hosting?

NFON is the best pick for German hosting with formal certification: georedundant German data centers with a BSI C5 Type 2 attestation and ISO 27001. sipgate is the runner-up, with servers only in Germany. CloudTalk's security page lists GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2, and its DPA is public, but CloudTalk runs on AWS and Google Cloud across 9 locations globally and names no German location, so pick it when compliance certificates matter more than the data's country.

2. Which Easybell Alternative Has German-Speaking Support?

Placetel is the best pick for German-speaking support, with phone and email support from Business and a VIP hotline on Enterprise. NFON follows as a German vendor with regional contacts. CloudTalk offers onboarding in German and 24/7 chat and email support in English on every plan, plus a self-serve help center. That beats Easybell's hotline hours on availability but not on language.

3. SIP Trunk or Cloud PBX: Which Is Better for Scaling?

A SIP trunk is enough when you keep your own PBX, such as a 3CX server, and only need channels and numbers; dus.net and sipgate are the leanest options here. For a full cloud phone system, CloudTalk is the best pick: the provider runs routing, queues and updates, seats scale per user, and dialers, CRM sync and AI come in the same app. Enterprises with 500+ seats and multi-site trunking should also look at NFON or a self-hosted 3CX. The differences between hosted PBX and SIP trunking go deeper on cost and maintenance.

4. Which Easybell Alternative Has the Best CRM and Helpdesk Integrations?

CloudTalk has the best CRM and helpdesk integrations of the tools here: 100+ native integrations from Essential with two-way sync of contacts, calls, recordings, AI summaries and tags, including HubSpot, Salesforce (on Expert), Pipedrive, Zendesk and Freshdesk. Aircall is the runner-up, with one-click CRM and helpdesk installs. Easybell's pages name no native CRM integrations.

5. Which Easybell Alternative Has Clear Prices, Contract Terms and No Hidden Fees?

sipgate and fonial publish the clearest prices among the German providers, both cancellable monthly; fonial's €3.90 net per number matches comdesk's lowest price without a 12-month term. CloudTalk publishes per-user plans in USD, with call queues on every plan and IVR from Essential, and lists every add-on price on the same page. Check three things on every quote before you compare the full cost of a business phone system: net or gross of VAT, the minimum term behind the headline price, and per-minute call rates.

6. What Is the Best Easybell Alternative for German Numbers and Number Porting?

Placetel is the best pick for German numbers and porting: porting is free and a new 10-number block costs €4.90 a month. Leaving Easybell costs nothing, since Easybell doesn't charge for outgoing ports; plan the switch around the new provider's timeline and your SIP settings. Per CloudTalk's Germany number porting guide, German local and toll-free numbers port in about 2 weeks and national numbers in about 7, German mobile numbers can't be ported, and a new German phone number starts at $6 a month.

7. What Is the Best Easybell Alternative for Contact Center Needs?

CloudTalk is the best pick for contact center needs: its call center software runs the Call Flow Designer, IVR and skill-based routing, Smart and Power Dialers, supervisor tools and Conversation Intelligence in one platform. comdesk is the runner-up, with a cloud ACD contact center on request. Zaren, a retailer outside the DACH region, unified six call centers across Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Serbia on CloudTalk.

8. Which Easybell Alternative Offers the Best AI Telephony?

CloudTalk offers the best AI telephony here. Conversation Intelligence (CI Basic $9, CI Plus $19 per user per month) turns calls into transcripts, summaries and tags, and AI Voice Agents (from $99 a month for 200 minutes) answer and qualify calls 24/7; both are add-ons. Placetel is the runner-up with AI assistants from €69 a month. Easybell connects third-party voice AI such as fonio.ai rather than building its own. Autenti, a CloudTalk customer, has nearly 40% of its inbound calls handled by an AI Voice Agent.

9. Which Easybell Alternative Works Best With Microsoft Teams?

Enreach Swyx is the best pick for Microsoft Teams, with Operator Connect numbers, SIP trunks and a Teams integration from one vendor. NFON is the runner-up. Easybell's Teams route stacks its own trunk on top of Microsoft's licences. CloudTalk's advanced Microsoft Teams integration sits on the Expert plan.

10. What Is the Best Easybell Alternative for Growing Teams?

CloudTalk is the best Easybell alternative for growing teams. You add seats one user at a time instead of jumping to the next 25-seat bundle, and dialers, integrations and AI are there when the team needs them, the setup CloudTalk sells as call center software for small businesses. Aircall is the runner-up for CRM-first teams, with a 3-licence minimum.

Ready to Make the Switch from Easybell?

Moving off Easybell is a planning job: outgoing ports are free and there's no minimum term to wait out. CloudTalk's answer to each Easybell limit:

  1. 01
Trunk required: one platform with numbers and calling included, and no separate carrier contract.
  2. 02
Higher tiers for routing and reporting: call queues and the Call Flow Designer on every plan, and IVR, skill-based routing and reporting together on Essential.
  3. 03
No native CRM integrations: 100+ native CRM and helpdesk integrations from Essential.
  4. 04
Teams licence stacking: calls, SMS and WhatsApp in one CloudTalk app, with the advanced Teams integration on Expert for teams that need it.
  5. 05
Hotline hours: 24/7 chat and email support on every plan.
  6. 06
Per-minute billing: 500 domestic outbound minutes per user on Starter and unlimited domestic calls on Essential and Expert, across the EU, UK, Iceland and Norway, plus numbers in 160+ countries.

German local, national and toll-free numbers move to CloudTalk through number porting; only German mobile numbers stay behind.

Frequently Asked Questions About Easybell Alternatives

Yes. Easybell GmbH has operated from Berlin since 2006, is regulated by the Bundesnetzagentur and has belonged to the Dstny group since 2022. It says over 60,000 companies use it, and connect professional rated its cloud PBX "very good" in 2025, a fair bar for any business VoIP provider.

Easybell GmbH, a Berlin company founded in 2006, has been part of the Dstny group since October 2022. Dstny, headquartered in Brussels, bought it from its majority owner, ecotel communication ag. Easybell kept its brand and still sells SIP trunks and a cloud PBX under it.

Easybell's Cloud PBX Basic is free for 5 seats; Classic costs €9.95 and Pro €14.95 a month for 10 seats, net of VAT (October 28, 2026). Every PBX needs an Easybell SIP trunk, from €1.95 a month after 6 free months, so compare business phone system prices on the total.

CloudTalk is the best Easybell alternative for sales and support teams: one cloud phone system with numbers and calling included, call queues on every plan from $25 per user per month, IVR and CRM integrations on Essential, and the Smart and Power Dialers on Expert. Placetel and NFON suit German-hosting needs.

Yes. Easybell charges nothing for outgoing ports, and CloudTalk ports German local and toll-free numbers in about 2 weeks and national (+49 32) numbers in about 7. German mobile numbers can't be ported, and number porting times run longer if your details don't match Easybell's records.

No. Easybell's Cloud PBX cancels to the end of the month, and its SIP trunks cancel 7 days before month end. Placetel's and comdesk's lowest prices need 24- and 12-month terms. CloudTalk bills annually or monthly, so compare what a business phone line costs on the term you'd sign.

A cloud PBX is better for most growing companies, because seats, routing, apps and updates come from the provider. A SIP trunk only makes sense if you keep running your own IP PBX, such as 3CX, and staff to maintain it. CloudTalk is a cloud phone system, not a trunk.

Easybell runs its Cloud PBX on a reserved server per customer in German data centers and states GDPR compliance. It names no certificates such as ISO 27001 and offers no separate AVV for telephony; Cloud PBX data terms sit in its T&Cs. Weigh hosting alongside other VoIP security risks.

CloudTalk is the best cloud phone system for German sales and support teams that need CRM sync, dialers and AI, with GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2. If German hosting is mandatory, NFON (BSI C5) or sipgate fit better. Compare what cloud PBX plans cost first.

Yes. fonial starts at €3.90 net per active number, and comdesk at €3.90 per user on a 12-month term. CloudTalk starts at $25 per user per month with a 14-day free trial and no SIP trunk to buy, which suits phone systems for startups that expect to grow.

Yes. Easybell's Teams Connector costs €0.50 per account (€5 a month per 10 users) with Easybell trunks, but you also need a paid Easybell SIP trunk, Microsoft 365 licences and usually Microsoft's Teams Phone add-on. CloudTalk's advanced Teams integration sits on Expert; our list of Microsoft Teams integrations covers more.

Check Easybell's public system status page, linked as "Systemstatus" in its website footer, for current faults (Störungen). Easybell guarantees 99.99% availability for its SIP servers. If calls fail while the status page is clear, test your own internet connection first, as with any VoIP reliability issue.
